Alexey Kononov

All-Russian State University of Justice (bachelor's degree, specialization - "Civil Law"), State Institute of Economics, Finance, Law and Technology (master's degree, specialization - "Civil Law").

Alexey specializes in issues related to the regulation of crypto assets, the development of optimal work schemes and minimization of business risks in this area, ensuring business compliance with privacy laws, and also has experience supporting projects in the field of conversational and generative artificial intelligence.

Alexey's experience includes support for international crypto projects, including a large crypto holding consisting of 18 legal entities with a presence in all significant crypto jurisdictions, as well as other clients providing services in the field of crypto assets.

Alexey has experience in analyzing, optimizing and mitigating risks in ongoing personal data processing processes in the activities of both Russian and foreign clients, developing necessary policies and other documents, preparing memoranda and opinions on problematic issues, including cross-border transfer and localization of personal data.

Before joining the Versus.UAE team, Alexey had experience working in legal consulting iLegal, part of the iFree group of companies, with a total of about 700 employees, uniting projects in the field of Conversational AI, Fintech, Foodtech, Telecom, E-commerce, GameDev.
