Roman Motorin

National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE St. Petersburg), Faculty of Law (bachelor's and master's degrees in "Intellectual Property Law in the Digital Age").

Roman specializes in intellectual property, international taxation and corporate law, but also has experience in antitrust, personal data and advertising and content regulation.

In his work, Roman prefers to use a comprehensive approach: even when developing a simple contract, it is necessary to analyze the tax and currency consequences of its conclusion and execution, prepare all the necessary corporate approvals, and take into account regulatory restrictions.

Roman has been providing legal support to R&D companies in the IT and GameDev sectors for over 6 years, including experience in international consulting at Big4 (Deloitte).

Roman participated in projects on corporate structuring of international groups of companies, helped founders choose optimal jurisdictions, use tax incentives and drafted contractual documentation both within groups of companies and for formalizing relations with users and contractors, formalized relations between developers, publishers and investors, conducted an audit of compliance with regulatory requirements, participated in the inventory of intellectual property and in the development of rules for the application of tax incentives.
