Valeria specializes in issues related to virtual assets and helping businesses legalize crypto activities, protect and defend intellectual property, manage and commercialize various intangible assets, and comply with privacy requirements. She has participated in the implementation of international projects in the UAE, Hong Kong, EU, USA, and other countries and regions.

Valeria's experience covers issues of obtaining cryptolicenses and other permits from regulators, building communications with government agencies, conducting numerous due diligence in terms of intellectual property and personal data, participating in international transactions for the transfer of intellectual property and other related assets, content distribution, preparing strategies and documents in terms of processing and protecting personal data, as well as writing consultations and memoranda on complex and non-standard topics (hardware localization, personal data localization, preparation of Transfer Impact Assessment within the framework of GDPR, parallel import, import of non-standard goods, online advertising, etc.).

Before joining the Versus.UAE team, Valeria worked at the American law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she advised a number of leading global brands, including in the fields of media, entertainment, technology, medicine and energy.
