Visa processing for the company manager in Qatar

In normal cases, a work visa is issued for the CEO and employees of the company, which is then converted into a residence permit (RP). The result of successful completion of the entire process is a Qatar ID (QID) – the main document certifying the identity of a resident in Qatar.

The total processing time is up to 1 month. The time depends on the correctness of the preparation and execution of the submitted documents, the speed of their processing and the availability of government agencies.

Stage 1

Preparation of documents

We help with the preparation of the necessary documents for all subsequent stages. Particular attention should be paid to the company charter, proof of the position held and identity documents.

Stage 2

Computer Card Design

A Computer Card is a document issued by the Qatar Ministry of Interior (MOI) that identifies the company's authorized signatories and is required for various administrative processes, including issuing residence permits for employees and interacting with government agencies. The application is submitted by your sponsoring company through the MOI Metrash2 portal.

Stage 3

Obtaining a work visa (Entry Permit)

Entry Permit – permission to enter Qatar for the purpose of obtaining a resident visa. Without it, the manager cannot legally begin the residency process. The sponsoring company also submits a request via Metrash2. The visa is sent to your email in PDF format. It must be printed out for presentation upon entry into the country.

Stage 4

Medical examination and biometrics

We accompany you to blood tests and X-rays in accredited medical centers, such as Al Ahli Hospital, Qatar Medical Center. We also accompany you to give fingerprints, which will be linked to your Qatar ID. The results of the medical examination and biometrics are automatically sent to the MOI.

Stage 5

Proof of Residence Address in Qatar

Confirmation of the residential address is carried out through the Metrash2 application. As confirmation, you can attach a rental agreement or a hotel reservation.

Stage 6

Qatar ID Registration

After a successful medical examination, the company applies for a QID via Metrash2. The QID can be delivered by courier. The QID must be renewed annually, every 2 years or 5 years (depending on the type of visa).
