Benefits of IQAMA for the company and the manager
"A resident visa allows the manager to officially act on behalf of the company, sign documents, manage finances through a local bank account. Without a visa, there may be restrictions on access to the account, the need for powers of attorney, which slows down processes" Alexey Romanov, юрист
Legal management of a company in the Kingdom
Lack of a visa may result in the company's activities being blocked, as management is required to be in the country to sign financial and legal documents. Access to the Absher government portal for visa, banking and service management. Signing contracts, opening accounts, hiring employees without intermediaries.
Integration into the local business environment
Access to closed tenders, partnerships with Saudi companies and participation in government projects. Simplified access to credit and investment programs.
Trust and reputation
From customers, banks and government agencies, which is critical in a culture where personal presence and reputation matter.
Freedom of movement and other benefits of a resident
Health care, education for children, rent/purchase of real estate. Multiple entry/exit without additional permits. Tax optimization due to resident status and double taxation agreements.
“Without a visa, management becomes remote and ineffective: all actions require certification through a power of attorney, which increases the risks of fraud and errors.” Ilya Vydrych, Development Manager бизнеса

The process of applying for a resident visa
The CEO first needs a Working Visa, which is later converted into an Exit and Re-entry Visa. After that, the IQAMA resident card is issued. The total processing time is up to 1 month.
Stage 1
Preparation of documents
We help with the preparation of the necessary documents for all subsequent stages. Particular attention should be paid to the company's charter, investment license from MISA, proof of position held and identity documents.
Stage 2
Submitting an application
Apply for a visa through the Saudi Arabian consulate or online platforms. The approval process for the application takes 2 weeks for MISA and MoL.
Stage 3
Medical examination and biometrics
You need to take tests for HIV, tuberculosis, and hepatitis in accredited clinics. You also need to submit biometric data in one of the centers accredited by the Saudi embassy - for example, in Tasheer.
Stage 4
Payment of fees
Visa fee (~2,000 SAR) and insurance (~1,500 SAR per year).
Stage 5
Getting IQAMA
4-8 weeks after approval. IQAMA can be issued immediately on the same day of application, provided that a medical examination is completed in Saudi Arabia, health insurance is available and a local SIM card is available.
Visa extension:
A resident visa for a company director is issued for a period of 1 year. It can be extended up to 5 years, provided that the company's activities are stable.
An application for an extension must be submitted 30 days before the visa expires. Along with the application, you must confirm the company's financial stability (provide reports, tax payment data) and renew your health insurance and tests if they have expired.
Failure to renew your visa will result in fines (~5,000 SAR).
